Rebecca Conroy is an artist from New York City, where she spent her adolescence studying sketching, sculpture, and painting at LaGuardia High School. There, she embraced the grunge era in an army jacket and dark red lipstick every day. Rebecca moved on to get her B.A. from Hampshire College and after making many 16mm films and a thousand collages, she returned to NYC where she worked for years in the fashion industry. During her stint in fashion, she specialized in PR, home design, and prop styling for companies such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her styling work has appeared both in print - in The New York Times Magazine, Hunger Magazine, Bloomberg Media, Rodale, Inc., - and in film and TV, on Australia's Next Top Model, films that have been featured at Sundance, and numerous national advertising campaigns, including Ulta Beauty and Everytown for Gun Safety. Rebecca holds an MFA from Columbia University in Film, where she was fortunate enough to study closely with Andrew Sarris and Tom Kalin.
